We recently marked a significant milestone with our Sagewell Exclusive Evening, an event dedicated to celebrating the grand opening of our new state-of-the-art facility in Lincoln. It was an unforgettable night of community, connection, and forward-looking vision. We were honored to share this special moment with the friends, partners, and community leaders who have supported our journey. This evening was more than a celebration; it was a thank you to everyone who has championed our mission of unveiling innovation, compassion, and healing to serve the Lincoln community.
A Gathering of Community Leaders
The evening was made truly memorable by the presence and inspiring words of our distinguished speakers. Their insights and support highlighted not only the collaborative effort behind this special event, but also the shared dedication to bringing innovation, compassion, and expert care to the broader Lincoln community through the opening of our new facility. We extend our deepest gratitude to:
- Lisa Voorhees, CEO of Syracuse Area Health: Lisa spoke about the importance of accessible, high-quality healthcare and the positive impact this new facility will have on the community and surrounding areas.
- Dr. Scott Strasburger: Our own Dr. Strasburger shared his vision for Sagewell Orthopaedics—a place where wisdom meets wellness and where patient care is driven by expertise and innovation.
- Senator Bob Hallstrom: Senator Hallstrom highlighted the significance of community investment and the role of advanced medical services in the growth and well-being of Lincoln.
Their speeches set a powerful tone for the evening, reminding us all of the shared commitment to building a healthier future for our community.
The Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
A highlight of the evening was the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, expertly emceed by Chris Whitney of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. The cutting of the ribbon marked the exciting unveiling of innovation, compassion, and healing at Sagewell Orthopaedics, officially opening the doors to our new chapter in serving the Lincoln community. It was a proud moment for our entire team, shared with esteemed guests and partners.
We were also thrilled to welcome special guests who have been integral to our community connections, including former Nebraska defensive end Adam Carriker (8-year NFL veteran, first-round draft pick, Nebraska Football Hall of Famer, and host of Carriker Chronicles) and Dr. Whitten of the Nebraska Pain Institute.
A Tour of Our New Home
Guests were among the first to tour our new Orthopaedic Clinic and Urgent Care. The facility was designed with the patient experience at its core, combining advanced technology with a welcoming and comfortable environment. From the spacious waiting areas to the state-of-the-art examination and treatment rooms, every detail was crafted to support our mission of providing exceptional care. The positive feedback and excitement from our guests about the new space were truly energizing.
